I am Jolie Fainberg. I am originally from Los Angeles, California. I received my BA in Speech and Hearing Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara and my MA in Audiology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I am currently working on my Doctorate in Audiology from A.T. Still University. I have been an audiologist for over 30 years. My specialty is cochlear implants (CI) for children and adults. I had the good fortune to have worked on the original FDA clinical trials for all three CI manufacturers. I am interested in research and teaching and have presented over 50 research and clinical papers at conferences in the US, Austria, Britain, and Australia.
I live in Decatur with my two teenage daughters and two cats. I enjoy dance, art and outdoor activities.
